Hey all,
I've been off the job of restoring my car for a while due to my wife and I splitting up and my having to go back to Australia for a while. Now I am back into the restoration (944 not wife) so I will be on the board more and updating my web page again - I added a couple of pics of the engine bay as I have been re-installing the plumbing and what not in there. Restoration page.
Question time...
When I attached the wiring loom to the engine I noticed that one of the wiring blocks which was made of a hard plastic (bakelite ?) material seems to have cracked apart and left the pins exposed. From the pics below you can see the bunch of pins as they are now and the other pic shows one of the wiring connector blocks that I am talking about. Does anyone happen to have a trashed wiring loom with one of those connectors available to be cut off ? If so I'd be happy to take the connector off your hands for some $$.
Cheers,

Ahhhh... we have pics.
Unfortunately, that one was melted. Hope someone can come up with one for ya.
Oh.. and things look great! Nice and clean. Humm... oddly familiar, but mine has a red background!
Good luck!

Thanks Perry, I'll check to see just what it was supposed to connect to, although I think it is the only such connector on the engine harness (87 944 Turbo).

If you don't have a power passenger seat (or have race seats), I believe the harness connector for the power seats is the same style. Located under the carpet if your car is fully dressed.
Good Luck!

A simular connector is used to connect the wiring harness from the drivers side door to the electrics. It is located under the drivers side door below the electrics panel.
