Post Mirror heights

All,

I recently noticed while cleaning the 85.5 that the passenger side door mirror appears to be mounted slightly lower than the driver's side. This is only noticeable (to me) when the mirrors are folded back (towards the windows.) My driver's side mirror easily clears the rubber strip at the base of the window, while my passenger side mirror pushes right against it (when both are fully folded.) My 83 is the same way. Perhaps my cars are just deformed Are the rest of you in the same boat? I wonder if this has something to do with different driver's side seating issues?!?

Maybe you have one of the "limited edition"

Micah I think my 924S was the same way and I think my 944 is as well. Beats me why.

Adrian,

Maybe if I ever sell one of them on e-bay, I can say that and see how many questions I get from bidders

Matt,

Thanks for backing me up After posting, I was afraid some people might think I was just off my rocker!
