help!!! 924s fuel line problems
i have been away with uncle sam for a couple of months and was unable to adress a minor problem my wife's 87 924s is having....she left it parked for a week or so without driving it and it leaked all the gas onto the ground. the leak was very very slow and the gas evaporated as it leaked out. i just added some petro and found that the leak is in the fuel line from the "sump" in the tank to the fuel pump. it is a braided hose about 1/2" ID and about 12 inches long. of course its friday all the shops are closed and she wanted to go grocery shopping tomorrow. (boo hooo!)
i tried placing a heater hose in there for a temp fix until monday, but beacuse the hose characteristics are not kink proof, as suction is applied it kinks kills fuel and car wont run.....
question 1......how much is this fuel line roughly?
question 2 ......is this something that a dealer would likely have in stock?
thanks in advance...

Hi Kyle
My fuel line ruptured in the same area after a pretty long road trip some time ago. My mechanic charged me 50 bucks for the line and the install. Had it cost more I would of gladly done the labour myself, but as fun as it is to be around gas fumes all day, I happily shelled out the cash.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,
