Performance catalytic converter?
Well my cat pipe broke right in front. I fixed it but it's not permanent (at least not forever). I'd be looking into getting a new cat (unfortunately can't straight pipe I'm in NC) so what are the options for going with a performance catalytic converter. I would guess they'd be cheaper or around the same as the OEM?
Thanks,
Matt

Vertex sells a high flow cat for under $300 but you might also have to buy the straight pipe that it fits into as well. This is far better than factory if it is legal, because factory cat's are up in the thousands. I also think Lindsey racing sells aftermarket high flow ones.

Bones,
In NC you have to get your car inspected each year as you probably know, and I just had mine. On the list was emmissions I believe. Don't you????

I haven't tried one of these. I'll be tempted someday, for $110.
