BTW, does everyone get that Runtime Error (see below) when they go to the main Paragon Page, or is it just me?

Nope! No error here, update your browser and see if that helps.

I'm on IE 6.0, Win98, fully service patched and security updated. I wonder if it is my proxy server. I think I'll go downstairs to the systems room and try from the other side of the proxy.

That error comes up all the time when you have a copy of Visual Basic installed on your system. It looks for errors on everything , including web pages, and then ask you if you want to fix them. You can fix them but it wont do the page any good unless you send the fix to the webmaster.

I am so full of useless info arn't I. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Jeez, I feel like a dumbass. We installed the VB Runtime update a while ago. We did that so a prompt at logon (option to launch our intranet) would work properly. I forgot, I feel silly <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Why would you not do a Web search and get the answer right away? With Google, Paragon comes up at the top of the list.

ugg - that evil website.... <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" />

Yeah, we know - unfortunately, there's not much to do about it. A thousand apologies for the hassle some of you face... we have addressed a couple of the more plaguing concerns:

<a href="http://www.tech-session.com/misc/pp_resource/pp_security.htm" target="_blank">Paragon Security Issues</a>

<a href="http://www.tech-session.com/misc/pp_resource/pp_cookies.htm" target="_blank">Paragon Cookie Issues</a>

The errors most receive are from the embedded JAVA that's used by the shopping cart software - not under our control.

FYI, I use the latest versions of IE and NN to debug the stuff we are able to - I've been having great success since the switch to XP and the latest version of IE6.0

Again, sorry for any inconveniences - please feel free to contact us if you experience trouble using the site, or if you experience frequent and persistent heartburn.

No big deal Skip. I only get the error on the home page, not in the catalog or tech sections.

The only other problem I run into does involve the shopping cart. If I have a few items in the cart and go back to the catalog to continue shopping I cannot view cart to see what is in it. If I try I get a message that says it is empty. But, if I add a new item to the cart low and behold everything I had selected is still there. Not something I cannot work around.

I did a google search and it does not even come up on the first page.

Maybe you could do the search yourself first before you give me grief about it.

Actually if you do a search for Paragon parts it comes up as the 1st item:

And if you do a search for Paragon porsche it comes up at least in the top 10 (I think it was the 4th item).
