Script handles came to 1986 951. 951's made during 1985 mostly did not have them. Between 1986-1988 all 951 hade them, but in 1989 both styles were used and mot 1990-1991 models had non-script handles.

I see about 50/50 usually. The one difference is that I seem to see a lot of the smooth handles in much better shape while I've seen some script handles that were just hammered. Suggests that the supply is lower on the scripts and we're getting closer to the bottom of the barrel.

I'm going to have to find someone to anodize mine. I'd pay a big # for a set of new-condition script handles (just a hint for anyone holding back).

I'm talking about script handles. No use for the non-script. I have oem scripts and they're probably an 8 out of 10. Going to have to be anodized to be perfect.
