I have removed an aftermarket cell phone from my 951. I've gotten rid of everything except the part that is stuck to the inside of the glass (passenger rear window). It's a little square piece of plastic - the antenna was stuck on the outside of the window at the same point. The problem is that the thing is really stuck there. It must be some pretty tough glue. Does anyone have a tips for getting that thing off? I really don't want to mess up the tint on the window.

Razor blade + Goo gone....
Push the razor blade in (it will not scratch the glass if you keep it flat), then just squirt a little goo gone or similar product in, repeat untill you can get it off...
Not to bad a process...

Since you have tint on there, I would definitely rule out heat from a hair dryer or heat gun. Sounds like a lot of patience to boot. Try some acetone (nail polish remover) on there, Maybe they used superglue or a facsimile.

I'm planning in a couple of weeks to do the rear speaker job so I'll give it a shot while the window is out. I'll try the goo-gone and/or acetone. Thanks for the input.

Acetone and goo-gone are both likely to eat tint, OTOH the antenna is unlikely to be stuck to the tint, there is probably a hole in the film where the antenna is stuck directly to the glass. Your choices may be limited to living with the plastic piece or getting that window re-tinted.

Was the tint a factory job or was it likely done as an aftermarket upgrade? If it was factory, what are the specifications? I don't know much about tint, but aren't there different colors and degrees of darkness?
