Question How to....

Hey!

I need to remove my power steering pump tonight and send it to the mechanique so he can rebuild it.

Does anyone know how to run your belt without the pump?

thanks in advance

You plan to drive it without the pump? Not recommended.

The PS belt is alone - you can remove it entirely with no other changes needed. If you do try to drive the car without the pump, be sure to drain the rack and plug the ends (lines, etc) so don't leak or contaminate.

Good Luck!

nice...

thanks skip... I think I'll have to see what would be the time laps between sending and receiving the pump, depending on that I'll be able to tell if yes or no I run it without the pump.

Thanks again!
