Post Weird starting problem

My battery went dead the other day so I had to jump start it. Now when starting my S2 it cranks once, then starts to die (as if the battery's dead), but if I keep the key turned and then it starts cranking and starts up. Once when doing this it did stall, instead of almost dying and then coming to life. Also, it starts up like normal after I drive it, turn it off, and then restart soon afterwards. Is this related to the battery, or maybe the injectors or what?

It may be just a poorly grounded battery cable If you boost it with the negitive cable direct to the block does it act normally if yes then I would check the ground to the block from the battery
