Default steering column switch cluster removal

Hey guys,

where is the mystery bolt/nut located that holds the steering column switch cluster to the steering column on a late 944? And what exactly kind of hardware am I looking for? It's all apart, trim and everything's out of the dash except for the switch cluster.. so, how do I remove the switch cluster so the dash can come out?

Best regards,
Christian

Late or early car? I've pulled an early assemble a couple of times. Assuming you found the two long screw that fasten the assemble to the column. Probably what's stumping you is a couple of multi-connectors. IIRC there's one for power and another that sends the switched voltage to the wiper motor, lights. The turn indicator/hi-low beam switch will separate from the the wiper switch but you don't have to do that to get them off the column. This car didn't have CC so I don't know how that falls into the mix.
