power door lock question
Can someone tell me if this is normal, or if my wiring is goofy.
The power door lock does not unlock with the car off. But, if i open the door, the actuator locks and unlocks (im assuming thats so you dont get locked out) But shouldnt the button unlock the door when the doors are closed.
Like for example when i park the car and turn the car off, I want to be able to hit the unlock button and get out of the car. But there is no power going to the button. But if i manually unlock the door and open it, and THEN press the doorlock button, the actuator locks it and unlocks it. Leading me to believe that somethings screwey.

I guess if you get into an accident you'll just HAVE to unlock the door manually... Or just drive with the doors unlocked...
