Aside from the normal stuff of seals, guides, valves, and gaskets I can't really think of anything....
The head being gone makes it easier to get to the coolant and vacuum hoses that run to the cabin heater if you want to replace those.

Oh.. and all the other vacuum lines that run around under the intake manifold. And you can check your Idle stabilizer valve and clean it out if you need to. And the temperature sensors in the block.

Those are all very good ideas thanks for the pointers. I got into the engine a little bit today and it turns out the water pump has been updated. I am not sure but I think I may still replace it while I am in there. I had a box full of parts the previous owner pulled off and I found a snapped bolt head that has and arrow pointing counter clockwise with to tighten stamped into it. I looked around and couldnt figure out where this bolt head came from. I hate to think there is a bolt snapped off in the block some where that I cant find. Has anyone else seen a bolt like I have described. It seams to be lefthand thread. thanks
