TaboII,
I've got an idea. I can put it in my annoucements on P-caronline.com and I can send out an email to the entire user directory about it (691 folks). Many of whom know of rennlist, but might not neccessarily be a member.
Let me know.

Tabo,
Why don't we just send John the $$ and let him figure out how to hand out the memberships? He's always got some good cause going and he can pick out a worthy recipient pretty well. Hell, he gave me and you lifetime memberships, didn't he?
Anyway, put me down for 5 sponsored memberships.
Rennlist forever!!! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Hey guys,
Well since were speaking about memberships ive been a member of rennlist for the past 4 years.
And its been very pleasurable.
Now I am associated with European Auto Center here in miami and in the process of getting togehter my own Company/Shop (EightyoneMotorsports).
Im also making an internet store specializing in the 944/924/968 line. So,My question is what is the process to become a sponsored vendor in rennlist? It would certainly be helpful for me and for rennlist and a way I can contribute to Rennlist it self.
Thanks

Hello to all,
I fist of all would like to thank all of you that have signed up and those of you who have come forward to sponsor other individuals. So far I only have one taker for the free memberships and I will be giving that one person the member ship here very soon.
I am a bit bewildered as to why there has been so little response to our attempts to get people interested in backing a sight and an idea that has helped out so many. I guess my roll is not to ask why but give an honest effort. Once again I thank those of you who have signed up and those that have donated free memberships this site is truly and awesome place.
To make sure that my word is my bond I am going to re-sign myself up and give the one free membership away on the 5-6 of September for money reasons. I am also going to donate the remainder of the total amount for the memberships to Rennlist and John and Jen to do with what they will, the total combined is $187.00 on my part.
For those of you who would sponsor individuals and or donate according to how many would sign up. I encourage you to make your donation and add the sponsorship pelage money for this effort directly to John and Jen.
For those of you who came up with the great ideas to rafel/ebay/other the memberships, they are all great ideas and if this is something that you would like to continue with then of course I am all for it. I am going to simply make a donation to cover my word and go from there. My kids are starting school and things are getting hectic around here so my time is starting to become limited as far as what I can accomplish in one day. I’m sure you all have been there in one way or another.
Congrats to all the new members and welcome, thank again to those who stepped forward for donation I leave the rest up to you all.
Keep the rubber side down and have a great one.
BTE here is the one winner of a free member ship and what was sent in. Congratulations kelsean, you are the winner of the free membership.
Here is what was sent in..
Tabo,
First, i have to agree with Shaun: people like you amaze and inspire not just me, but so many people -another reason i love the Rennlist.
Ever since i began reading/posting here i felt i needed to contribute to John and Jen's wonderful charity that is the Rennlist. For obvious reasons, it simply makes owning one of these cars more affordable and enjoyable than anything else i can imagine. As long as i possibly can, i'll always drive one of these cars and that means i'll always want there to be Rennlist, and to be a part of it.
As for membership- although its never been far from my mind, i have found myself out of a job and having a very tough time continuing my 'budding' telecom career. To add to that (substantially), my recently-acuired 951 giving up a rod bearing and damaging the motor has left me with no transportation, and forced to pull/rebuild the motor myself. I've borrowed the money to have John Anderson build a motor for me and for the necessary other things and will soon be reinstalling a fresh motor back into the car myself.
Having never done anything quite like this before, I am very thankful to have a place like the Rennlist to turn to. With a little good luck and some help from the guys here, i should be back on the road in a month or two and on my way.
Tabo, I'll be a paying member at some point anyway -even if it takes a while, i feel i owe it to John and Jen. On the other hand, i know there are other users who have contributed and know much more than i may ever. For that reason alone i would tend to suggest you help someone out other than myself. But, nonetheless, i'd like to say thanks for what you are doing for the Rennlist, its founders and all the listers who enjoy these forums.
Thanks For Bringing this whole thing up!
