Not sure if it is the photo, but that interior looks immaculate!!
(Jaime, hoping to finish his car to be able to do a DE before the end of the year... )

I have the same Black RedLine bar with the same interior. You're absolutely right, install is 15 minutes. I pull mine out for daily use, bolt it in with harnesses for DE's. The fit is pretty darn accurate too for such a big item.
Now, no need to test it. Remember...

How does the Redline rollbar mount/bolt in? Does it use existing bolts somehow, such that it only takes 15 minutes?
Just curious... because the Autopower rollbar that the PO installed in my car looks like it would take a lot longer than 15 minutes to remove.
Thanks.

Yes, John's rollbar is bolt in, 4 point, and a great investment. Here's more info:

Redline website
Be warned, making rollbars isn't his #1 priority. All good things take time and this is no exception. Plan a few months in advance! Sorry John, but you know it is true. It'll cost you just over $500 once you get it delivered, via "greyhound".. My only complaint about mine is I lost a click on the seat recline position I normally use. I'm 6'4" and now it's a bit tight..But it's a sacrafice I'm willing to make..(or I'll just unbolt it till next time!) It's so easy to install my WIFE did mine for me. She fit in the back to line it up better than I could.
OR see other rennlist discussions about it..search for "redline rollbar".

all the pictures of flipped 944s i saw were crushed in from the b pillar forward (meaning the roof and windshield end up in your lap) dont you need a bar that goes forward to the A pillar?

The premise is to provide just enough uncrushed area for the head and upper body to be protected from complete collapse. In most racing, a cage is required (would include the forward portion of the occupant area). The bar also provides a very rigid point to attach the harnesses to, as the most common case of crash is pointy end first (except for early 911's )... keeps your teeth from meeting a cow's hide. The Hajny bar, and any "rollbar" also has the advantage for street cars to be driven without the occupants worry of making contact with cold steel !

The Hajny bar bolts into 4 holes. The 2 lower are the outboard lap belt locations in the rear seat. The other 2 are the C-pillar mounting points for guided location of the rear 3-points. Often, these are merely covered with a plastic screw in cars not originally equiped with 3-point rears.
Four bolts, some washers for tweaking, a little application of the appropriate torque... Pretty sweet install.
Now, storing one... I hooked mine to the ceiling in the garage while the car is in civilian garb.

Hey how much did you get your roll bar for. I'd like to pick up the same one. I see one by that Safeguard Systems and yours by Redline. Are those the same rollbars???? I'm looking for one with a removeable crossbrace and i don't mind doing drilling since i will have my uncle's friend's shop install it for me.
