Well I have found here, the last new 924. She had spent many years in storage and has finally come out to make her debut. This 1981 924 has only 100 original miles and was delived new from Stoddard with a few rare options.

They have some other air-cooled P-cars that are similar low-low miles, and mentioon being able to buy them for MSRP; so would you buy a "new" 924 for say $25k? I'd be surprised. As has been discussed here many times, there's no such thing as a 30-yr-old car that needs nothing.
Personally, I'd be afraid to drive it anywhere -- can you imagine the pain of that first door ding???

No doubt. That's a car for a collector, one that will sit in a garage for the rest of its life, and get trailered to Hershey and Parade. I don't think I could own a car I wasn't willing to drive. It's what they were meant for, after all!
But it sure is cool seeing one in this condition. My company has an office in Raleigh, if I ever get down there for business, would love to see this one in person.
