Default PORSCHE 924 1979

HI TO ALL, i have just registered,i'm based in southern ireland,i have been rebuilding a 79 924,using most of a 1980 model ,due to my nearly burning the whole car to a cinder.
anyway the engine was running well in the 80 car,no fire damage to it.
but since its been in the 79 its not as smooth, for example it's hard to start, and when cruising at say 80kmh or more it seems to be jerking or jumping,i have since done a bit of fine tuning,it's better but not right still jerky.
any of you had a similar issue,if so did you cure it !!!!

Welcome! My first guess would be fuel system (maybe fuel filter or pump), since that didn't get transferred over along with the engine.

Aside from that, you might be better served by joining www.924board.org since that site is dedicated to the 924. There are a lot of 924 experts there.

This site is great too so be sure to stick around!
