Looking for responsible home for 85.5 944 NA (Oregon)
I've had "Helga" the 1985.5 944 since 1990 (2nd owner) but I need to make room in my garage for the Boxster I have my eye on.
It feels a lot like dumping an older mate in favor of a younger lover. Maybe Porsche cars just bring that out in those of us who keep cars for many years and lovingly dump tons of parts and money into them. :-)
169k miles, all service records, a bit of paint oxidation and the occasional scratch...very reliable.
If anyone is reading this from Oregon and wants to talk, please contact me. Or,just tell me that I need a bigger garage...

Email me, Michael, with what color she is, interior color, leather or not, electric windows, etc. I live in LA, but Oregon isn't too far away for the right car for the right price.
Oh, include "944" in the header, or I will think it's spam, and dump it.

I wanted to post a follow up to my original post. At 170k miles, Helga's clutch finally failed (rubber donut?) and now she's in the shop for repairs and a new timing belt.
Everyone kept asking if the clutch was the "ORIGINAL" clutch. Yup, clutch #1 finally failed. Isn't that impressive? 170k miles? wow...
I miss the car. I think I'll keep her..
