Post 924 Turbo Hood for sale...

No I'm not selling the one on my car, but this one is up on ebay, and I for one really like how it looks on the 951, and I figure it must be sorta functional...

Just be sure to NOT have Koni adjustable struts or a strut tower brace, or you will have clearance problems at the shock tower. Its also not a very good modification if you value having functioning cruise control on your car, as it vents directly on the drive link.

I know keith didn't have a problem with his cruis control after putting on the hood, I removed it because I really didn't want it, the final plans for this car call on it being a light weight (no AC, no cruise, no back seat, racing shells, and stripping out anything else I can think of)

Anyway, but I digress, there don't seem to be clearance issues with strut tower brace, I'll double check that, but I bet it would depend on who's brace you use....

Strut brace - yes, I had to take off my kla. I do , however, have koni double coilovers and Paragon plates and I don't have any clearance issues there.

I wonder if there are differences between the Konis, depending on the year of the car. My 931 hood came complete with a 3/8" hole in the NACA scoop for clearance of the adjuster. My KLA didn't fit, either.

So what about an 84 NA eh? No cruise (Obviously)

I could use a hood (slight buckle) and this wasn't the one I wanted, but definitely would consider it.

Sure I could make a brace to fit (new job throws away more stainless steel rod than many places use) could even give the design to KLA.
