if it were me I would sit with the engine running, hood open, and fire extinguisher in hand, watching and waiting for a little while. Try to see exactly where the smoke is coming from, and just wait for it to go away.

Maybe you've already tried this, but I think it might be worth your time to just watch it and make sure it's not going to cause problems.
