Replace stock locations using 4 quality 4x6(opinions wanted!)
1) 8inch sub in rear cubby

1) 5 channel amp in other cubby (40x4) 1x120 and has the crossover built in!

Stealth ,minimal wiring = maximum quality sound!(I hope)
Has anyone done this? ???,most people seem to go with large systems.I want to remain with stock look but more quality and more bass without taking out back seats or filling the rear hatch! Thanks.

This is what I was going for also. Good sound, stock look. I put Infinity Kappa 4" separates in front door, 4x6 plates would not fit perfect under stock grills there was about a 1/4" gap between grill and door panel. The separates sound great up front. I put 4x6 Infinity Kappa plates in the rear factory location, sound great there. 8" sub in the rear wheel well. Looks stock, sounds incredible. I had to make custom plates in the front door to hold the 4" driver. It is just black ABS from a car audio installer. Good luck...

I found them now! Its early am and Monday!
Happy St Patrics day to all.!!!!!

My fronts are done. The amp is in .Alpine 5 ch with built in x overs.I built a temp sub box to try one 8 inch sub.It sounds great.
I just need to fix the rear speaker.Im going to try to fabricate a template to mount Boston acoustics seperates.(That I allready have)Will there be a place to mount the tweeter behind the rear panel? Without blocking the sound? Has anyone mounted seperates in back?Any photos?

Hey Dal,
Great pics. Any tips for reinstalling the rear window? I'm having a hard time with the rope method. Did you lubricate it any? I think that's what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

Paul, You can't cover the tweeters it would block the higher frequencies too much. That is why I put the separates in the front in mine and placed the tweeters in the stock location where they are in the 968.

I didn't lubricate any. If you are inside the car, I wrapped the rope around the channel and had the ends on the top right. This is where I slid the window in as a starting point then worked my way around slowly. Good luck...

I did lubricate a bit with armor all, but it really wasn't needed. You just have to take your time and be patient.

Dal.
