I was thinking of re doing my stereo this winter,I wanted to know if anyone has tried this : The system must be stealth!
-------------------------------------------------
Replace stock locations using 4 quality 4x6(opinions wanted!)
1) 8inch sub in rear cubby
1) 5 channel amp in other cubby (40x4) 1x120 and has the crossover built in!
----------------------------------------------
Stealth ,minimal wiring = maximum quality sound!(I hope)
Has anyone done this? ???,most people seem to go with large systems.I want to remain with stock look but more quality and more bass without taking out back seats or filling the rear hatch! Thanks.

Is it just my computer, or do the pics in this post not show up? Looks like it would be a really helpful post if I could see the photos...
Addressing the issue of the 7" holes. I noticed in a catalog today that MB Quart has a set of 7" round speakers. Has anyone tried installing them, or other 7" speakers? Would that eliminate the need for the spacer? Having never looked behind the panel (and not being able to see the photos in this post) I am having a hard time visualizing the problem that people are running into in finding a suitable replacement.
I plan to replace my rear speakers this spring but want to have a good plan in place before I start taking out windows. Input from someone with experience would be most helpful.

Take a look at <a href="http://dkheger.frc.utulsa.edu:8080/~dkheger/S2-1/s2.html" target="_blank">http://dkheger.frc.utulsa.edu:8080/~dkheger/S2-1/s2.html</a>
I have upgraded to the 6.5 speakers in my S2 and fabricated a mounting plate out of some sheet stock.
