help! how do i remove the fuel pump
How do i remove the fuel pump in my late 85 944n/a? Does the strap holding the pump cover on also hold the fuel tank up? thanks

No. But if you remove the fuel pump cover the rest should be self explainatory. I can't say as I remember the whole procedure, but I do remember it was simple. Change your fuel filter at the same time.
note: I have an 1987 NA, not a 1985. YMMV
