side moulding beading
It's time to start thinking about getting the pieces back on the car. During the time the car was in storage the black beading between the body and the moulding came away and it needs replacing. I recall folks here discussing that and mentioned a source too. I did a search but I guess I didn't have the correct search word.

Jim,
When you searched did you put the word "beading" in quotes? I just did and a ton of threads came up and I didn't restrict what forum to search on either. Try that and see if you get what you are looking for.

Thanks for the tip. I tried it and got more info but not enough. I'm looking for advice on fitting, etc.

Three Wheelin'
The beading is available from Sunset Porsche in oregon. You'll want to buy a few of the plastic clips that hold the rockers on as well, there are 2 on each side that have a threaded bolt, and the rest just snap in.

In view of the Season I would like to go one record and state just how awesome this board really is. I've been around here for awhile and it seems mere minutes after I write about a situation that answers come forward. Really a bunch of stand up guys. Each and any of you are welcome to visit my garage anytime you're in the area. In fact i insist on it.
