adjusting mirrors
i have a '84 944. there is a switch in th eow of switches by the ash tray with mirrors on it. i think i have electric mirrors. how do you adjust them. thus switch doesn't do anything. is there another switch hidden somewhere?

They are for the wing mirrors,
they are a 2 postion switch, flip it to one position and wiggle the little switch on the drivers door, it looks a bit like a mini joystick, you'll see the driver or passenger wing mirror move, flip the switch the other way and do the same and the other wing mirror should move.
I think you can only do this with the ignition on.
You should also hear an electric motor noise, if no noise check the fuses

They are for the wing mirrors,
they are a 2 postion switch, flip it to one position and wiggle the little switch on the drivers door, it looks a bit like a mini joystick, you'll see the driver or passenger wing mirror move, flip the switch the other way and do the same and the other wing mirror should move.
