Whats a reasonable price to pay to have a wheel trued-up? And if you know, what are the general limits to how much of damage can be straightened up? 1/8 th inch? 1/4? I have some ebay phone dials that are not straight (making ebay the perfect place to sell them)....Bruce

I found this through a search on the internet. I know absolutely nothing about them nor anyone who has done business with them, nor am I affliated with them.
They are in Defiance which is on the northwestern boarder kinda'.
They sound OK?!?
EDIT:
Hmm, I'm a specialist now... little do they know (followed by a sinister laugh)

Kevin,
Check out Motomotion in Medina. We just had Northern Ohio PCA tech session there about a month ago and it was very impressive. They do both repair and refinsh, really know their stuff, and cater to the enthusiast crowd. They give a discount (~10%) to PCA members, and they will also mount and balance for $15/tire which is a bargain since they have all the latest mounting machines for larger diameter rims. The owner (can't recall his name) is a super nice guy. I believe they charge about $150/rim for a repair and refinish.

Thanks Skip. I actually just found a place here in Columbus called Wheel Medic. www.wheelmedic.com. Sounds like they may refinish all of my wheels in exchange for me letting them run their logo on my car during autocrossing. They do good work too. They had some finished dials there for me to look at.
