Yep, in Loveland...

I think there's a big paint supply place on S. Santa Fe that stocks SEM stuff, just can't remember the name.

Heated seats fixed! Silly fuse was broken at the top edge where the only way to see it was to pull the fuse and look hard.

Outstanding. Fair warning, if yours are anything like mine you'll be sweatin' your *ss off after about 5 minutes.

My guess is the Porsche engineer that designed them was pissed off that he was screwing around with heated seats instead of building 935 turbo motors. He decided, in good Germanic fashion, that the purpose of seat heaters is to warm the seat when the car is cold and the best way to do that is to make them a blast furnace so they heat up quickly. "Zere is no need for zem to be toasty varm zo man can drive around viz zem on, zat ist fur American carz mit cupholders..."

Enjoy!

I'm sure this is the same engineer that designed the cup holders in my Cayenne Turbo. The cup holder can be removed for cleaning with the slightest pinch. But put a cup in it and it takes King Kong to remove the cup during flight. I would seriously have no issue with a hot cup of coffee (with lid) in that cup holder durning a track session.

(the Cayenne also has a "Mongolian BBQ" setting in the seat heaters"

Talking

I'm working my way that direction today. Sitting here in Starbucks trying to study my "Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor" certification. Figuring that my attention span for calculating beta and correlation coefficients of securities is only going to last for so long on this warming Friday. (which all means I should be on my way to Painters Supply shortly)

Wink

They had 2 cans. I now have 2 cans.

I did the dash today. Need to do the door panels. Think I will just refinish these seats in their stock color now.

It's not anywhere near as nice as yours. But one step at a time it is getting nicer.

How much Letherique dye did you need to do the two seats? I saw someone on youtube use an 8oz bottle to dye two front seats from black to red. However, when I contacted the company of course they said I need 48oz to do front and rear and suggested I buy their most expensive kit. I feel like they are trying to sell me way more product than I need (the kit comes with 32oz of rejuvinator oil, prestine clean, and the prep as well)

o effing jealous...

So I have a kashmere interior (f+r seats, 6 spkr door skins, center console) that I got out of a 968. Even has the same diagonal stitching shown in Greg's pictures. I have the matching uncracked 2-tone dash in the basement (with matching glove box) but have not installed because i'm lazy.

Leatherique appears to stock Kashmere as standard Porsche color. Guess I'm looking for any color sports seats now.
