i just hated having the cord hanging around on the dash when i was charging my phone. so i just did this. it will be wired directly to the car so it wont need the cigaret lighter.

Clever! Would it be even better to fit a 12v plug in there, so you could either charge the phone or hook up something else, like a radar detector..? Just an idea

 

who ever the PO was on my car wired a radar detector in liek that, the wiring job was lame but it worked until I pulled it out.
Is that a galaxian video game console????

One I haven't gotten around to yet, but I thought I'd contribute the idea to the post. Puting dome lights on the backs of the door pockets, and wire them so that when the door opens they come on. all new cars seem to have this safety feature.
