Post Seat adjustment

Tried to adjust the position of the passenger seet the other day and it would not budge. Could it be seized? Could the locking mechanism be a factor? The handle seems to move easy enough.
Thanks

Will have to check this weekend when I get a chance. The mechanism looks pretty basic, so hopefully it doesn't take too much doing

10 to 1 if you sit in it and adjust it like you would if you were sitting in it (make sense of that one) it will work fine.

1st thing I tried It just feels like it is seized or something is stuck in the runner.
Is the locking mechanism just on th eone side with the handle? I have seen something that have a connection to the other side. If this is the case, I guess it could be that as well.

Nope. Should be just the one.

Try rocking forward and backward?

Of course if it's stock to far back, then it's probably less effort to leave it there, since it's just the passenger side.

The same thing happened with my passenger seat. The mechanism is pretty basic. There is a cable running across the seat from left to right. It attaches to the latch that adjusts the seat. On my car the latch broke from the cable. The repair required taking out the seat, but it really was quite easy to fix. Good luck.

I had this happen once. There was a black plastic soda bottle cap stuck in the track. I didn't find it till I took the seat out.
