Default ET55 and ET70 wheels

Anyone have 16x7 ET55 and 16x9 ET70 Cup wheels on a 944. How about an early offset 944. Is there a limit to spacers. Seems the ET70 wheel (rear) would require a 1.5 -2 inch spacer added to the 1 inch already there on the early cars? Comments??

Thanks,
Gord.

My advice is to just buy wheels with the proper offset. But if you want to go the spacer route, I think longer studs would be needed.
