Almost forgot, thanks for the great pictures Dan. The one going down the hill at the stop sign is now my background.

I agree with everything that's been said so far. We REALLY need to do this again before the end of May! I've never been in a car that could do anything even remotely close to what I saw and experienced on Saturday. I'd jump at the chance to do another get together. Thanks for the pics too!

If anyone wants higer res pics of any of those, e-mail me (dan@pierson.com) and ask for them by number. The originals are 5 megapix so I downsized them big time for posting. If ya want them in 2274x1704, 1.8 meg, just ask!

PS.. Thanks, Leslie!

LOL

You're a big guy though, Dan - glad I'm on your side <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />

That Mini was quick as hell, though - I was having to work my *** off just to not let it get away! Poor Justin was probably sweating like a pig!

That was a lot of fun, thanks.. I was fearing we'd come upon opposite direction traffic..but the whole time all I saw was that jogger. We'd have a blast if we all did a track event together...but I know ya'll have commitments. Micah, your F4 quote in the OT room is a CLASSIC!

Yeah, Dan, we were doing some pretty obscene things to those beautiful roads, and I had the same concerns about oncoming trafic (wasn't there a Chevy pickup in addition to the waving jogger? And Dale, how about those oncoming guardrails?). Guess I was having too much fun to care THAT much. Just rinsed the dust off of my car last night and saw that the paint chip situation wasn't as bad as I anticipated. And being behind Jason, I can vouch for those M030 bars. Even with those tall tires he was smokin'. Thanks alot, guys. It was a pleasure to meet you all and I had an absolute blast. The 911 guys chose great routes. Hope to do it again soon, and I'm gonna' bring the turbo next time.

The cruise was great, it really lets you see your car in another light, doesn't it.
Thanks for the pics, Dan. How are the back roads in Mansfield? I'd love to do a DE and probably will, but finances don't allow it right now.
Once again it was great meeting everyone, I'm up for doing it again real soon.

Wade,

If you ever consider getting rid of the 86, please let me know. The roots of that car would mean more to me than any other! Not to mention the car is incredible...272k hard to believe.

Route 603, 1 mile from my house, has a speed limit of 55 yet there are turns on it marked 20mph. And no gravel!! I love those runs. Maybe I'll snap a pic or two of my fav twisties. Fest03 will be sure to include that route on our drive. See ya'll there!

That was gravel that was droped from salt trucks over the winter and on the rual routes it hasbt been drivin on anuff yet to really be cleared off.

Fishey quote - "...it hasn't been driven on enough yet to really be cleared off."

I think we did our share of clearing the gravel! Especially that load of gravel I 'decided' to push off the bridge underneath the guard-rail.

I, too, vote we do this again real soon!
