I hate it when a yellow 930 throws rocks on my newly painted 931 header panel. That's what I get for tryin' to hang with him on the twisties...

It was a blast! Thanks to all who came. It was great to meet everyon. I'll post pics on Monday!

Well kids, it was definately great to put cars and faces with the names from the list. Glad to meet all of you. Wish the car was done, even more now! I'll be doing some jammin' to get the 44 done for mid-summer. Maybe do a few more weekend cruises this summer. Paint chips suck, I'm sorry to hear that. I would rather a 930 do it than a friggin Kia or Honda though. Still sorry to hear it.

Cool

Alright! I get to be the first to post some pics. Yea, I wussed out and left my T-bo home, I had freezing rain in Mansfield, and snow flurries on the way home. The stone showers made me glad I was in the Mini, and Perry got to be my chauffeur while I snapped a few pics. Glad to meet the new folks, and good to see some familiar faces!

I'll leave it up to someone else to post the "parking lot" pics, here's the cruise action!

The yellow 930 out front looked like a pace car!

Sorry I missed you blokes today. Would have liked to been there and meet a few of you. Way too cold for me though. Im a total wuss when it comes to cold temps. Give me 104 with 80% humidity ANY DAY of the week.

THat said, I did wake my baby from hibernation today and fire her up after a battery charge. ALso fixed the driver door light toggle switch (Please GOD let this be the answer to my battery drain problem), then gave the interior leather a nice new coat of conditioner.

By the way, nice pics of all those 944s. Looks like a big convoy. Im not really one of those big Porsche socialites who gets together with others, but I may be at the Taj Magaraj thing at Carrillon Park(?) this year so look for me.

Definitely a good time. Thanks to Tifo for coming up with the idea. For a group of mostly NA 944's I think we all hung pretty well with the 930. (Yeah right)
It was great to meet you guys and I hope we can do this again soon.
Matt, I hope you & your S made it home ok.
Whoever had the 951 behind me on the cruise, I really tried to keep the gravel to a minimum!
I hope you guys can all be at the TajMaGaraj deal on May 31st. Lots of nice Porsches and an autox this year. I gotta get to work on my suspension...
See ya!

Ritenour posting in my name... that's it, I'm filing charges! The only thing the 911s did was leave parts in the lot! <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />

Hey Pete,

Ya the S is home fine. The coolant stopped leaking as soon as we left the parking lot. Haven't had a problem since (200 miles later). I'm pretty sure tightening it up after the run solved the problem (may have just gotten a little loose since the car has never been driven like that to my knowledge). Thanks for the knife!

Great time guys, wish I could have been more than a passenger in the drive. Although atleast I'm not complaining about rock chips.

Dan, that Cooper was impressive, good driving.

I was sad to see the 911 guys bug out early. They were welcome to come on the run with us, but I was not able to get to all of them when I came out.

We'll do it again. I have to say, Fishey ran that Volvo hard, and Matt got a full mirror of a Mini for a while!
