My 87' 944 has typical rock chips across the hood, no dents or dings, just chips. Have any of you used touch up kits? How well do they actually work? I don't want to end up with spots over the hood that don't match, or don't blend in. But at the same time I'd like to save myself the expense of actually repainting the whole car.
I found a site called paintscratch.com that offers a base and clearcoat kit. Its pretty cheap, but I'd just like to hear from others who have used this or other kits and just get some basic feedback.
Thanks for any replys,
Bryan

i also have some paint chips that i would like to patch over. i know that it won't look "good", but right now the big white spot in the middle of my blue hood looks even worse. where is the best place to get touch up paint from? porsche?

I got mine from paintscratch and am very pleased. I was wondering if it would be hard to match my paint color, but it looks good. The trouble is finding the time to properly fix the chips. go for it.
