Post touch up paints??

My 87' 944 has typical rock chips across the hood, no dents or dings, just chips. Have any of you used touch up kits? How well do they actually work? I don't want to end up with spots over the hood that don't match, or don't blend in. But at the same time I'd like to save myself the expense of actually repainting the whole car. I found a site called paintscratch.com that offers a base and clearcoat kit. Its pretty cheap, but I'd just like to hear from others who have used this or other kits and just get some basic feedback.

Thanks for any replys,
Bryan

I got mine from paintscratch and am very pleased. I was wondering if it would be hard to match my paint color, but it looks good. The trouble is finding the time to properly fix the chips. go for it.
