My luck continues to prosper! I cranked my 951 to go to work this morning and being paranoid about the belt job I just did, thought maybe I heard the balance belt whirring and popped the hood. No whir, but I immediately notice my fuel line leaking (large one at the junction of the nut and the crimped connector....hose itself is good)...got the new SFR ones and haven't put them on yet....got a project for this afternoon though!

Is a fire from the fuel line or from anywhere really a problem with these Porsches?
Seems like thats the consensus from what I have been reading on here.

Porsche had a recall on fuel lines. If you call PCNA and give them the VIN, they'll tell you if it's been performed. Don't recall the details, but there was an updated part (different rubber compound and construction).

My hoses (all 3) from SFR were $126, shipping included. However you could make them yourself much cheaper, by buying the hose and some hose clamps, you certainly don't have to have the faux fittings. There was a post recently with an outlet for braided hose.
