Wow, never knew that!

Now I am wondering if I need a 993 badge?

LOL

Rice, rice, baby. Does it matter to anyone that there are (or at least should be) crests on all four wheels, one on the hood, "Porsche" on each of the door handles, once on the tail and again on the rear decal? Too subtle for some of you??

About the difference between the new style badge vs. the old badge, I have thought about replacing mine, but I think it may cause a problem. If you look close at the 944 header panel it has a very slight curve, as does the old style badge. A friend of mine claims that the 993 badge is flat, and putting it on a 944 will leave a gap inbetween the header panel. Has anyone actually put a late badge on? (IMHO I really like the look of the black lettering of PORSCHE)

Porscheplayer....Replacing the old badge with a 993 model badge was one of the first things I did. It not only looks better it also resists fading muche beter. They usually sell a new rubber backing that surronds the badge that makes it fit just as snug as the original and protects the edges of the badge. I would recommend it to anyone that has not done it. I purchased mine from Zims as well.
