Default Wheel fitment (i know, worn out topic) Cup wheels

84 944 n/a

I picked up a set of cup wheels and am looking for a little advise on spacers. The fronts are 17x7 et 55. Car is very low and of course I dont want rubbing issues. But still, id like to have the wheels as far outboard as I can. General google concensus says 1" spacer. Well H&R measures in MM. While I can obviously do the math, should i go with 21, 23, 28 or 30mm? Those are the sizes i see on ebay.

Also...for the rear, I got 17x9 with 275's. While thats way more tire than i need, thats what I got. I cant seem to find an et stamped anywhere, but I can tell you they have a huge thick pad cast into them and the lugnuts are recessed deep in it (so much so that I need open lugnuts now. Based on what I see around online, maybe theyre et 15? I had the factory slide on spacer on there and with that off, they seem to fit perfect. Any experience? Cuz I tried it with the spacer on and basically ripped off a bunch of tread...oops.

Thanks in advance. Sorry for the novel.

thanks guys.

EDIT

So like, what I can figure out is a 36mm spacer in front is the way to go. Any opinions?

Cheap spacers on ebay will not clear the front dust caps....tried three different sellers. They will work on the rear only....1" is what you need...

search my past posts...there is a link to where I found proper spacers for the front.
