Default Experience with GT-Racing Carbon Fiber panels?

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the GT-Racing Carbon Fiber Body panels? Just wondering how they look after you order them etc.?

I believe Chad used some CF fenders on his RS3 project. He got them used IRRC so they might've been painted/primed before...I'm not sure.

no experience myself, but i recall people saying that alot of aftermarket body panels dont fit perfect without minor modification.
OT: i have pondered the possibility of building a carrera gt clone with gt-racing products. what are you up to???

And I believe I got the hood that Chad did not need. Red, CF, already prep'd and fit just fine. I was told it was a GT Racing CF part although I do not know for 100%, and since it was already prep'd someone else could have already sorted fitment issues.

I have used GT Racing in the past, as well as MA Shaw,Getty, A.I.R., and a few others over the years. Bottom line is that sometimes they fit well, sometimes they don't and need some work, no real reason or pattern. I am sure it is dependent on the mold they are using and as good as the craftsman currently working for them or whomever they sub the work out to. Bottom line is that it's an aftermarket part which you should always figure some additional work will be needed with.
