Default Euro vs. USA 944 Ride Height

Whenever I look at photos of European model 944, they look much lower than the American models. How big of a difference is the ride height between them. Do the European models handle better? How can I do this?

My US spec car... adjustable ride height kit for the front, rears can be re-indexed on the torsion bars and there is SOME adjustment in the rear suspension using eccentric bolts... Yes those are 18 inch wheels on my 87 951...

Old faithful was lowered to euro specs (1 1/2" front 3/4" rear and yes the euro is lower then our cars) & by lowering your's it will hold the road better I would not go any lower for a street car the wheels on it were 16". Cheers LP944
