couple engine harness plug questions
hey guys,
i just need to know for sure what a couple of these plugs on the engine harness go to.
first... i know the bigger one is for the AFM but im not sure about the smaller one... i was thinking AC compressor? but i dont want to cut it out of the harness without knowing for sure.
then... im pretty sure i dont need these. the bigger one is for some evap stuff right? and the round one is just a diagnostic port of some sort? i want to remove this whole section of the harness as well.
and also... is this how this goes? i really dont remember how the crank case ventalation was set up on this car...

The larger 5 pin plug in the first picture is for the AFM. The smaller 3 pin plug is for the throttle position sensor.
The second picture, the round plug is for the diagnostic system. The bigger, square plug however is what feeds power to the engine harness from the car harness. Cut that off and your car will not start. This plug is mounted under a plastic cap where the two screw holes are right above your hand in that picture.
Third picture, the setup is wrong. The smaller hose from the ISV goes into a port under the intake manifold. It should have a metal fitting that it will connect to. Look at the underside of your intake and you will see the hole. Im not sure where the longer line goes, but I think you have it right.

btw, my vaccuum setup is much more barebone. maybe u can't do it like me..
mine, i have intake mani vacuum port going directly to the brake booster.
on right side of the TB, the postTB fitting goes to the FPR/FPD.
the AOS top port with a off-the-shelf hose going to my jboot silicone setup.
that's all the vaccuum i got on my car. no ISV, no AAV.
i know u wanted clean and simple. not sure if u wanna sacrifice ISV for it. in the summer, the ISV doesn't do anything anyway.
