Post wheel refinishing in philadelphia area

looking to get my rufs restored to original finish and would like to keep it local. anyone have any experience w/ shops in the area? researching i've found this <a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=15;t=015233#000000" target="_blank">thread</a> but martin never posted the results or who he went with. i'm itchin to get my car completed (well this stage) by hershey.

I will also be doing this in the next few months but I think I'll go down the DIY road. Even if I have to buy 1 or 1.5 cans per wheel, it'll be less expensive than getting them done professionally, even if the paint gets chipped after a while and it has to be redone.

I had mine done at <a href="http://www.wheelmedic.com" target="_blank">www.wheelmedic.com</a> who are here in Ohio. I know there not local to you, but they do have a fast turn around time. Also if you tell them that you know me you can get the work done at a commercial rate which is $105 a wheel.

Did you spray the wheels while they were laying flat or standing up like when they're mounted on a car?

thanks plum...i think i'll give them a try, they have links to vw vortex (the rennlist of the vw world) so i can check out feedback on them there. as for bath....i've heard of it....off the top of my head i think its up by balley pa but not sure....the 610 area code kinda horseshoes around me so it shouldn't be too far. thanks again guys.

Just getting my PD wheels refinished at the moment, Don Galbraith Motoring in Devon, PA have a sub-contractor who is doing the job. The set that I saw on a 911 when I was there were immaculate. Just waiting to find out what his initial findings are.
