Post "snubbed" nose

I was visiting Ian (mrMunky) yesterday and he was doing this and i saw how easy it is so i went ahead and did it. I still have to shave off the little weld tab things and fix some little paint things. but it looks pretyt nice.

Hmmm... kinda just looks like a 944 that's been in a rear-ender with something big. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

It kinda has the same profile as that of the turbo bumper on the center but on the corners I don't like the space created. Even though I wouldn't do it to my car I don't think it looks bad at all, nice job!

the good hting is if i messed up or wanted to undo it all i would have to do is stick some new shocks in there. and theyre cheap. so hey why not. except i majorly scratched some of the paint underneith that used to be exposed.

You'd be suprised Brett...I have new shocks on my bumper, and I bought this little crow-bar to hook into the tow-holes under the bumper. My front bumper gets backed into pretty regularly here at the university! I use the tool to yank the bumper back out. Works for now, at least they keep hitting rubber!
Keeping fingers crossed.

That's a great do-it-yourself mod.. I don't have the means to do it now but eventually that looks like something I'd really be interested in doing.

doing the bumper properly is taking forever.. i had to cut off those posts and bondo it, then fabricate pieces to fit in the empty spaces in between the turn signals and the bumper.. then it all gets painted and put back on.

oh brett i got the yellow turbo rear valance, the guy told me he saw my picture on cardomain awhile back and that was the reason he bought a yellow '83. small world ey. anyways it was 125 shipped and i dont think im even gonna have to paint it. score!

it's gonna be purty for summer.

How does it look with the rubber parts on and the bumper pushed in?

Thats a nice look Brett. Unique! I like your color keyed wheels too. In my opinion the cookiecutters look tons better than phone dials,(which I have )

i didnt use anyhting to fill the holes. its just that my car has a quality paint job. its just that that part of your bumper is painted black so it makes it stick out more. I'll find something to fill it in. for now im going to put he rubber things back on because now I'm all concious about hitting something and bending the frame of my car.
