Post link to my broken head and head removal - pics

with many thanks to Dal Heger, we pulled the damaged 16-valve head off my 944S this weekend. It was a long job and the most involved project I've ever undertaken, but we got it done. I documented some of it on my website with photos Dal took - if anybody is interested here is the link.

Wow. I had similar carnage. My Cams have completely chewed teeth...and basically halted...snapping the belt...slightly bent a few valves. I got off lucky. I'll have to send you a picture of my old chain tensioner (from 8k miles before this happened). The pads wore/cracked away and the chain was riding on/into the metal! It is pretty sick.
