Post Cam2 110 Octane

My local Mobil station also sells Cam2 110 octane for $4.95/gallon. This is not unleaded fuel.

Leaded fuel will certainly ruin a catalytic converter...but is there any engine damage that will occur?

Also, have you done this? What were results.

Thanks, I've searched the archives, and come up empty.

Leaded fuel will also hose your 02 sensor. Other than those, I don't think much else will happen.

The O2 sensor and cat will be victims. However, I noticed in your sig. that you have a stock 86 turbo.

Why would you want to put 110 leaded into it any way? Unless you've done some serious mods the money and octane will be wasted.

Thanks Ribs - Thanks Alan...

I was more wondering what if any benefit there would be. Sounds like I am better off sticking with 94 pump gas.

And you are correct Alan - she's 100% stock (except for the stereo & speakers), so there are no mods to take advantage of octane...
