Post Raceware Engine Studs

I was thinking it might be smart to replace the factory head studs with a set of Raceware Studs? Any thoughts on this? Do the factory head studs stretch really bad under boost? I was told the factory setup is pretty good. The studs will be for my new 2.8L that I'm building with a SFR Stage 1 turbo. I'm assuming boost is another major factor for the requirements of wether I need studs or not?

It's not so much that they stretch from boost, but from re-torquing them. Once they begin to stretch, you cannot get even torque on the entire head.

When I pulled mine out (after installing head 3 times) one was a full 5mm longer, and you could actually feel it give when torquing.

Get the racewares. I did, good stuff, and you are going full tilt on this motor. Do it once, do it right.
