Default Weird 944 Turn Signal Problem

I have a 86 944 N/A and the turn signals have been acting odd for the last little while....sometimes they will work ok, although the interval is a little long, but other times they just turn on and stay on. All of the bulbs are ok but I guess it could be the relay flasher, but as I said earlier they work sometimes

Any ideas on what it could be?

Also....where are the flasher relays on these cars?

Thanks in advance
Kev

Bad relay, it is located under the hood, left side (drivers side) just below the windshield...

2 metal clips on top, open the clips, take off the cover, relays and fuses underneath...

Flasher is the 4th one back on the outside row of relays... get a matching one from any parts store for a few bucks...

do you mean they don't reset after the turn?

+ 2 on the relay.

When my relay went at first the blinkers would work intermittently and then eventually stopped working.
