Post Tranny fluid FYI

Just wanted to let everyone know that after much debate about what tranny fuild to use in my 88 951 with LSD, I went with the Redline MT-90. What can I say, it really works. I had the other Redline stuff in there 75W90 GL-5 and the tranny was loud to say the least. Changed it out to the MT-90 and now smooth as silk shifting even when cold and little to NO noise.

Just putting this in to cast my vote for the MT-90.

Thanks

How's lockup affected since the swap, or have you had a chance to test that? Always looking for more first-hand accounts.

How long was the old fluid in there before the swap?

Also, is this a street or track or both?

I just changed mine 2 days ago to Redline 75W90NS, and I can feel a real difference. It hasn't gotten cold yet, but I'm hoping for improvement there too.

Good to see the avatar back Skip!

I put Mobil 1 75w-90 in there the other day. Haven't driven it since then, but hopefully this weekend *crossed fingers*

Roy, you talkin' ta me! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

In Redline - 75W90, or MT90, or 75W90NS mix with 75W90, or 75W90NS with custom amount of FM.

In Swepco - 201

Clearer 1, or 2?
