Post Is hissing noise normal for leak down test?

Hello,

I just did a leak down test for my '86 951 to check for bent valves and I heard some hissing/whistling noise during 2 of the cylinder checks (#3 & #4 cylinder). #3 cylinder whistling was quite loud and seemed to come from the oil pan/oil filter housing-holes (I have my oil filter housing off for re-sealing). Is this normal? I've never done a leak down test before on any other vehicle so I'm not sure what to expect from this noise.

My leak down indicated the following results:

cylinder #1: 2% leak
cylinder #2: 2% leak
cylinder #3: 4% leak
cylinder #4: 3% leak

I believe that the test indicates a solid engine, but the whistling in #3 cylinder really bothers me. I didn't hear any type of noise in #1 and #2 cylinders and #4 cylinder was only a very faint whistle.

Thanks,

*****
