Post destroyed 951 spoiler...:(

First time I have driven the 951 in a good month, take It to my friends house for an hour or two..come home, its dark out. (our driveway is gravel with railroad-ties), one is sticking out...I dont see it time..Bam. Hit it, takes out my AIR Front Lip. Gone, Nothing, Screwed, Its history...My whole right front is bowed from the stress, I must go attend to it now..talk to you guys later..at this point I dont know about the 944 fest

Sam - No need to sell it... just a little body work. I'd be happy to help out with what I can.

Hang in there. And by all means, make your friend move the RR ties!

Sam, upload some more pics to your profile. Listen to Brian, if anyone knows what they're talking about re: selling/keeping, he does!

Bah, I can't imagine how that feels...the AIR is the best looking splitter.

BTW, do I hold the record for keeping a front splitter in one piece? I've had this thing on my car for about 18 months, it just gets little rock chips that I have to touch up every few months but no disasters yet.

Sam,

Sorry to hear about your car. Don't sell it though, you still haven't taken Micah or I for a ride . On a serious note though I hope everything turns out ok.

Im just angered more than anything since the first time I drive it something goes wrong..and thanks all for the kind words... looks like it will need another splitter, I may try and repair the current one with a fiberglass repair kit but its pretty mangled. Well see, I may upload a pic or two

G96..you have to have the record, mine lasted about a total of 300 miles, lol.

Sam,

Well, dammit. I'm really sorry. I know how frustrated you are at this point, but it will all be better in a couple of days. On the bright side, you're on Spring break, so you can attend to it more readily than you could if you had to be back in Muncie in the next couple of days.

Your car is gorgeous - pull up some old photos of her and get ready to slap another lip back on

Hey i just had a thought. Since we'll be on spring break next week and you two will be in Muncie, we should try and see if anyone on the forum wants to get lunch or something in Muncie for a day. It's the same distance for me and would love to meet a couple people. Let me know if you two are up for it getting something going.

I figured the half life of my Turbo S splitter would be four or five months-and it made it 6 weeks intact-but the car is being picked up tonight by the new owner, so I don't know if that counts! Anyway, there is no margin for error on these things-hence, I don't think I'm putting one on the new car.
