Default Transmission Model ID..?

I did a search on Transmission Codes but all I can find is talk of the 5Y or other type coding on the Sticker...

And talk of finding the "code" on the top of the transmission...

But what and where on the transmission is the Model Code..?

The 88/6, A or 016/9, G, K, R, S, Y or 083D, F or G31/02

Where are these "Model" Codes located at or derived from..?

They are stamped into the transmission housing, on the top... there is a flat area that has the numbers stamped into it...

Give a guy a fish and he can eat for a day.

Teach him how to fish and he can eat for life.

Teach him how to sell fish and he can eat steak for life.
