Just installed the positive and negative battery Cables from IceSharks kit. TopNotch stuff. I got lucky and because of my agile hands I didn't even have to remove anything to get them in. The kit was virtualy perfect, but Redeye and myself could have used a few small improvements such as... Bikini models to serve cold beer and hand wrenchs to you while your under the car... thats about it, maybee you can include that with your next project kit, eh Iceshark?

I agree with you on the quality of the product definitely top notch I am by no means a mechanic but I am use to working with my hands (electrician). If anybody here does this kit on a turbo car without removing most of the components I will bow down in front of them as my mechanic hero. I am in the middle of this with the intake manifold off and I pulled the starter and the alternator to be able to get to stuff there is just no room in these cars.

Bikini clad young chicks, eh? That will add a little to project costs.
Tom, you didn't need to pull the intake manifold but it is easiest to pull the starter to fit your hands up there. Saves time in the end and you can clean out all the clutch dust off the shaft and pinion gear.
The alternator on the turbo is a bear. Intake plumbing has to come off but it is posssible to get in there for just the wiring - I've done it both ways but I will have to admit it is mighty tight with the alternator in place.

ICESHARK .... THE KITS ARE GREAT!! (The lights + battery cables!)
I finished putting it on my 944 NA with the engine out.... It went great. The instructions were very easy to follow....
It was so easy I did it with one hand.... (my other hand has a splint on it!)
The 951 is next....
Thanks for great communication and a great product!!

I had the intake off for another reason but I am glad it is off to get to the grounds on the bell housing. It is all worth it though. I got a surprise removing the wire from the battery to the starter I did not cut it open yet to see what is damaged.
