Default Early Offset 911 Fuchs on early 85 944

I have searched all over and haven't been able to find any pictures of anyone running this configuration with the 16x6 front / 16x7 rear - early offset 911 Fuchs on a 944. I found someone selling a decent pair for 450 with tread and I need some winter tires so trying to figure out how they would work out. I am not planning on doing brake swaps, etc this is a DD.

Will it work and will I run into any fender well / clearance issues?

thanks in advance,

early offset wheels work on early cars.. yes, 911 (early) offset wheels work on pre '87 944s In fact, the 951 came with 7 and 8 x 16 Fuchs as an option.

The base 944 came with 7x15 inch rims - cookies were standard, Fuchs were optional.. Phone Dials available as well.. Not sure I would bother with a 6x15 or 6x16..which is likely why you can't find pictures of it.

No brake swaps needed.

ALL factory Fuchs are early offset check the back side of the "paddle" for the size and offset ie 7x15 et23.3

Youll need big spacers if you want it to look reasonable.

If all you want these for is snow tires then more power to you.

Cookie cutters are a better option in my opinion. Still good and narrow for snows.
